About CINAP
설립목적 및 비전
In September 2015, the Catholic Institute of Northeast Asia Peace (CINAP) was established near the 38th Parallel in South Korea by the Catholic Diocese of Uijeongbu, to research and promote peace on the Korean Peninsula and in Northeast Asia where the legacies of the cold war stubbornly remain.
With a keen awareness that it is the mission of the Catholic Church to realize the peace envisioned by Christ, and by working together with the Catholic Church in neighboring countries as well as with practitioners of various faith, CINAP strives to research and implement our theology and spirit of peace that can catalyze reconciliation and bring about lasting peace in the Korean Peninsula and Northeast Asia.
가톨릭동북아평화연구소는 분단의 현장에 위치한 의정부교구가 냉전적 갈등이 계속되는 한반도와 동북아의 평화를 연구하고 실천하기 위해서 2015년 9월 설립하였습니다.
가톨릭동북아평화연구소는 이 땅에서 그리스도의 평화를 위해 노력하는 것이 교회의 사명이라는 인식을 가지고, 역내 관련국들의 가톨릭교회 그리고 이웃 종교인들과 연대하면서 한반도의 평화와 동북아의 화해를 촉진할 수 있는 평화신학과 평화영성을 연구하고 실천하기 위해 노력할 것입니다.
